Paris to screen Iran doc ‘The Mannequins of Hassan Khan Castle’

Iranian documentary ‘The Mannequins of Hassan Khan Castle’ is to screen at 2017 edition of Cinema(s) d’Iran (Iranian Cinema) in Paris.

Directed by Sam Kalantari, the documentary will be screened at the fifth edition of the festival in France.

The Paris screening will be the documentary’s eight international screening which will be held in the presence of the director.

Produced by Documentary and Experimental Film Center of Iran, ‘The Mannequins of Hassan Khan Castle’ narrates the story of 15 plastic mannequins in a workshop.

Cinema(s) d’Iran (Iranian Cinema) is an association created by Iranian, French and Franco-Iranian students.

The association aims to improve the understanding of Iranian culture in France. The association’s official goal is to “put in place cultural manifestations to initiate dialogues.” 

The 5th edition of Cinema(s) d’Iran is held June 14-20, 2017 in Paris, France.
